The 2008 Annual Convention of the IAGLCWDC, aka The Tampa Bay Yo Ho Hoedown, is a major fundraising effort of the IAGLCWDC that will provide a variety of activities for all of its attendees.

The workshops and forums will combine together to help us fulfill our purposes listed in our bylaws, "To promote the culture of and provide education in country western dancing, activities and music to all persons without regard to age, sex, gender or gender identity, religion, national or cultural origin, sexual orientation, disability or HIV status," and "To provide opportunities to its individual members for education in country western dancing as well as to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas among the member clubs."

Each evening there is a dance in the ballroom, and throughout the weekend, clubs hosting or assisting with future conventions will have a little something for you in the hospitality room.

If you're a newcomer to IAGLCWDC conventions, you'll want to familiarize yourself with our traditions.

During downtime--before, between, and after the many workshops, forums, and the evening dance, some of us find time to check out nearby attractions or taste the local night life.
