The 11th Annual IAGLCWDC Championship Dance Competition is being directed and organized by the IAGLCWDC Dance Competitions Committee. The Competition Director is Lee Fox, IAGLCWDC Director of Dance, who will also serve as Head Judge.

The Competition will consist of three separate competitions--Line Dance Competition, Couples Competition, and Teams Competition--all held on the same day, Saturday, May 24, 2008. The Order of Competitions will be published in a Competition Program to be made available at the competition site.

Each competition will follow the official IAGLCWDC Rules and will be judged by five or more IAGLCWDC-sanctioned judges. The judges will be selected by the Competition Director.

Want to compete? Entry Forms are available on this website for all three competitions. Competitors may enter using traditional paper entry forms or using online entry forms.

All IAGLCWDC dance competitions are open competitions. This means that you may enter and compete whether or not you are a member of an IAGLCWDC Member Club. It also means that for competitors dancing as couples gender is irrelevant.

Reminders for Competitors:

• Hoedown Registration ~ All Competitors agree to Register for the entire weekend.
• Rehearsal Times ~ Check with the Competition Director, the printed schedule of events, and signs posted by the registration desk to make sure you know exactly when your rehearsal time will be.
• Competitors Meeting ~ It is very important that all couples, all line dancers, and one or more representatives from each team attend the Competitors Meeting in order to receive pin-on numbers, order-of-competition information, and any other last minute instructions. Team representatives will draw to determine competition order at this time.
• Critique Sessions ~ You will be told at the Competitors Meeting the finalized details of time and location of the critique sessions.
