Local: TBAN - Tampa Bay Aids Network

TBAN, Formerly The Tampa AIDS Network (TAN) is a community organization which provides prevention education, emotional and physical support services and advocacy on behalf of all persons affected by HIV disease.

TBAN serves more than 2,500 Clients each month, linking them with Health Care, psychosocial and other services.

The Tampa Bay AIDS Network (TBAN) is the largest HIV/AIDS program in west central Florida, with 25 staff providing services to more than 6000 people annually in the Tampa Bay region serving Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando Counties.

National: GLSEN

Founded in 1990, GLSEN (The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) strives to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. GLSEN has successfully hosted eight national conferences to bring together student leaders, educators, chapter leaders and activists. GLSEN also sponsors the National Day of Silence, which close to two million students, teachers, and staff have been a part of at 3029 school campuses across the country. GLSEN's newest national project is National No Name Calling Week.
